Jennifer graduated from the University of Vermont in 1991, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy. She began her post-graduate study in Postural Restoration in 1999. In 2005, Jennifer earned the designation of Postural Restoration Certified (PRC) as a result of advanced training, extraordinary interest and devotion to the science of postural restoration adaptations, asymmetrical patterns, and the influence of polyarticular chains of muscles in the human body as defined by the Postural Restoration Institute®. Jennifer believes her mission of certification is education and therefore has mentored and trained several physical therapists and athletic trainers. She has been a Faculty member of the Postural Restoration Institute® since 2010.
Jennifer’s approach to Postural Restoration science is to put your goals at the forefront of the treatment. She takes time and cares to educate you on your imbalances and the patterns of movement that are contributing to your current or potential injury. She emphasizes the importance of understanding your body and how it works to properly plan and implement your treatments. The key elements of her treatment style include understanding, education, and compassion.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, running, hiking, golfing and spending time with Chris and their daughters Madison and Devon, and dogs Bennett and Daisy Mae.
